ClinicianX is a platform that helps clients, families, support coordinators, and referrers connect with independent Occupational Therapists, and helps OTs connect with clinical supervisors. By using the platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

No medical or clinical advice

ClinicianX does not provide medical or clinical advice and is not an emergency or crisis service. Occupational Therapy and supervision services are provided by independent clinicians, not by ClinicianX.

Independent verification

Where a supervisor profile displays “Registration checked”, an authorised ClinicianX administrator has manually checked the submitted name, registration number, profession and current status against the public AHPRA register. This does not imply AHPRA approval, endorsement or partnership and is not a guarantee by ClinicianX. Profile information, availability, capacity, and service details are supplied by the independent clinician and may change. Users remain responsible for independently checking registration and deciding whether a clinician is suitable for their needs.

Enquiries and connections

Submitting an enquiry allows ClinicianX to send the information provided to the selected Occupational Therapist. It does not guarantee a response, availability, acceptance of a referral, or a particular outcome. A clinical relationship begins only when the independent clinician agrees to provide services.

No liability

To the extent permitted by law, ClinicianX is not responsible for clinical decisions, services, advice, supervision, or outcomes provided by independent clinicians. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

Professional responsibility

Occupational Therapists and supervisors are responsible for maintaining current AHPRA registration, appropriate insurance, professional standards, privacy and confidentiality obligations, and practising within their scope of competence.
